Has anyone installed a new headlamp harness from C&G, PN #48-11647? The wire for the starter solenoid comes out of their harness. 3 wires from their harness for the fuel gauge, fuse block and pillar light match up with 3 wires sticking out of harness coming out thru firewall. The existing wire to the starter solenoid is coming out of the harness near the firewall so when I disconnect it to connect the solenoid wire in the new harness I have a piece of wire dangling about 4" from the firewall that used to connect to the solenoid. I'm assuming I should just cut this off?? TIM CARLIG

Sorry, I figured it out with a nudge from Don Rogers. I just forgot that I disconnected the wire at the starter switch from the old harness that was the same as the new harness. The C&G harness is fine. TIM CARLIG
