I had plugged lines once & blew them out. Blowing thru the line now by mouth I can hear the gas in the tank bubble. I guess you can't expect to blow very hard with only 1/4 inch lines. I have had the see thru plastic lines for the Dual carbs for almost 20 years with no problems...I am replacing them now though they are still flexible & strong because the red turns yellow after a while (and for safety also). It's easy to know fuel is in the lines. They really grip the inline fittings tightly.
