1934 Ford | -- 04-08-2013 @ 1:29 AM |
What do you mean, "In your face". Looks to me like Chevrolet was talking about Chrysler's Airflow while still building a old style car. If I was a Chevy guy, I'd switch to a Chrysler or Desoto Airflow if "streamlining" was that important. Otherwise, the 36 Ford seemed more streamlined than the Chevrolet in 1936. 1934 Ford's since 1972

1936 CHEVROLET I have to put my 3 cents in on this one, do you know that the CHEVOLETS has wood door jams holding the doors on? were FORD was all metal, which do you think is stronger, ? wood or steel ? they used a lot of wood, a old friend of mine said he father used to junk cars, when a CHEVY came in you opened the doors and could pull the car apart , when a FORD came in you had to get the cutting torch, that's a fact, that 36 CHEVY might be nice but a 36 FORD had it all over it in design, and LOOKS, I am in favor of 37 FORDS even more, Do not get me wrong they are both nice, like they say, everybody has their own choices. see which one brings more money, I am certain, there will ne more comments on this,,,, my 3 cents 37RAGTOPMAN I enclosed a picture to compare to,

So, you like 1936 streamlined cars made of metal? How about the most expensive car in the world made in 1936 - the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vk16a8Cp1A Or, compare the new lines of a '49 Ford to those of this '49 Delahaye: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8qUG0e4psw&feature=player_embedded Eat your heart out! Old Henry (The older I get, the better old looks.)

I know that taste is very subjective, but I prefer the American styled and made Ford over the Bugatti or the Delehaye. As my "Pappy" said, just because it is expensive it doesn't have to be good. I think that the French wines have pickled the minds of the French and they come up with the weirdest vehicles made. Tom
