How do I read this vin # on a 50 ford crestliner? BOSP 185142 I know the B stands for V8 and the O means it was built in Ohio I think. The S means it is a special limited build?? The P means police I think. the numbers is what I really am not sure of. 1 maybe Jan. build? 8 the 8th day?? 51 the year built maybe?? 42 the number of vehicles built at that moment in time??
