On my 35Ford when the engine is idleing I get a pop ping out the drivers side exhaust pipe once in a while, what would cause this? Thanks

If it just occasional, I'd suspect a sticky valve. If it happens more than that, it may be a vacuum leak somewhere in the carb area, such as a cracked hose or leaky gasket. For the valve, you can try some Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas, or a bit down the carb. If it persists, I'd run a vacuum test. I'm attaching a chart.
