Does anyone know the correct vinyl type for a 1934 Ford 5 window coupe rumble seat area? LeBaron Bonney offers a smooth brown vinyl (GB-5) for 1933 and early 1934 and also a coarse textured darker brown (N-10) for 1934. According to the production numbers in the 33-34 restoration manual my coupe was made in May 1934. I prefer the smoother brown. Are there any judges out there?

I have a 1933 roadster with a rumble seat, just finished in 2011. It has received 3 early ford V8 Dearborn awards in the past 2 years. I have judged 33/34 fords at EFV8 national meets for the past 20 years. I suggest you follow LeBaron Bonny's reccommen dation. My car has a medium brown vinal with a fine grain pattern for the rumble seat. Early May would make your car an early to mid year car. Best wishes! Bill Taylor
