With mechanical brakes, be they rod or cable actuated, are all four brake drums engaged when the emergency brake is applied?

Well, they are for sure on a 33/34. Pulling the parking brake handle does the same thing as stepping on the brake pedal. I don't know about the later cars, the cable brakes are quite a bit different and might have a seperate cable for that. Model A's had a separate parking brake also. Jim S.

The 1932 operates all four brakes with the emergency brake. Charlie Stephens
