I have a question for anyone who has or is familiar with the 1937 Ford locking hood handle. This is the original Ford one not the aftermarket ones. In locking position is the handle supposed to be unmoveable or actually sorta freewheeling where it is free to turn around 360 but will not open the hood? Mine turns 360 which surprises me because I thought it would just prevent turning in lock position. It makes sense to work this way because a locked unmoveable handle could be forced(broken) to open,not much to really be a strong lock. Thank You
