The production paten plate on my 1951 Ford includes BODY, COLOR, TRIM, DAY, MONTH, and ITEM. I’ve found what all the codes mean except ITEM, which is 337. Does anyone know what ITEM 337 means?

The Item number on the Production Tag represents that the car was the 331st produced that day at that plant. Don
