Does anyone know when the first and last 1951 Ford rolled off the assembly line? I have a 1951 Ford and the date code is May 29. I would like to know if that was 1950 or 1951.

Most of the cars produced in that period were generally introduced around January. The new 1949 models were, however, introduced in June of 1948 and produced thru mid November 1949. The 50's then were produced and sold in January.

Ray, That's right. Production most likely started in December and ended in November or December because of the major model change to the 1952s. You would have to check the Production tags for exact date.
