Topic: 1937 Ford Lefthand Drive/Righthand Glove Box

I spotted this unusual 1937 Phaeton in a movie titled Masie Goes to Reno (1944). Note that the car has its steering wheel on the left as well as the glove box.

Check the 39 Chevy parking lights on the tops of the front fenders.

  Tony,

Probably a RHD that has been set up as a movie prop. Elmer Scroggins here in Houston converted a RHD '33 Phaeton to LHD. The car was from S. America and it was quite a project to do.

Did they have any driving shots where it could be seen moving from a distance?

That open car dash would be the hardest part to find.

  drkbh,
Yes, the car appeared to moving on its own power in the film--see second photo.
