I have dual exhust on my stock 35 Ford the car runs well the problem is the drivers side tail pipe leaves blk soot on the drive way and the passangers side tail pipe leaves no trace of soot. I pulled the front plug on the drivers side and the plug had dry blk soot on it. I made several adjustments to the carb with a vacuum gage with a reading of 22 ,what could be the problem? Thanks as always.s

first thing-check the gap on the plug, 2nd-change out plug, 3rd if the vacuum is 22lbs is the needle bouncing around or is it steady-even at idle. If a valve is sticking it can cause oil to be drawn into the clinder and cause soot, 4th do a compression test on this cylinder also do a leak down testto see if any rings are stuck
