I have a 32 V8 stored many years recently returned to life having new coil condenser points etc. boiled out f/tank new electric fuel pump boiled out carb (Holley) idles great accelerates good BUT has a miss in gear at driving speed 25-45 MPH I tried adj carb dos nt seem to help. Looking for some pointers from collective experience. Thanks 8cyl Flathead

Did you replace the spark plugs?

Along with the plugs you may want o look at the plug wires.

The best tool for locating the cause of an engine miss is the good old vacuum gauge. If you need a diagnosis chart, I'll post one.
