Why is it that every time I request a part I need on "Parts Needed" I get about 4 responses from England. Are these lagitimate responses or people trying to cheat me out of my money? I can't believe there are many old Ford parts in England. I've never responded positively or sent them money as they want their money in Pounds and want it sent by Western Union or Money Gram.

Read the comments in the General Topics: "Scammers in the EV8Classified, page one.
It's a problem that many of us have when we post in the "Parts Wanted" classified
section. Most, if not all of these responses are not actually from the UK, but
from scammers in other countries that neither have the item you are looking for,
nor even have a clue as to what it is. Never respond with any personal information!

Yes, I had read the "beware" post. Just wondering if this was a problem others had seen. Each are insistant that I send them my address, which I have not. I've ask a couple for pictures of the parts and they just ignore that part of the e-mail. Thanks for confirming what I thought.

As I said before check their name in your roster to see if they are a club member. Most of these responses to ads actually come from Nigeria. If you read the ad closely they have poor English and do not describe their part or show a photo of the part. Legitimate folks from the UK use proper English and usually tell you they are a V-8 Club member.
I have had these responses also to my ads. I ignore them as it is obvious it is a "scam".
