Topic: Right Rear Window Regulator 1937 Fordor

I ventured into unfamiliar territory behind the right rear door panel to remove a regulator that would not raise or lower the window without assistance. My suspicions were confirmed that several teeth on the small gear were missing.
My question is whether this is the correct regulator for a 1937 Ford or has a past owner changed both the glass channel and the regulator? The pictures I have seen in catalogues show the Ford regulator attached to two points on the glass channel where the setup I have applies pressure at only one point and relies on the window glass channnels to keep the window straight. I will endeavor to post pictures. The channel the single regulator arm engages is six inches in length.
Identification and recommendations will be appreciated.
