I am new to this site and respectfully request any help the collective community can provide. I am building a 1934 Ford roadster that I will land speed race at Bonneville, and hopefully establish a record around 225mph. I have a copy of the 33-34 restoration manual (Hellings, C.E.) and need additional information. The body for the class of car must be an original or exact reproduction (which I have), with all panels in the OEM orientation with respect to each other. I would like to know if there is a source to either obtain original top level assembly drawings that would show the relationship of the hood/cowl, radiator grille and rear fenders to the body. One rule allows for the addition of a 3-inch stretch to the hood/cowl which will require custom fabrication. Also, is there a source for blueprints for same parts?

Had a very long discussion with Karl Wescott and he said to look for original Ford sales literature that might show the front and side views with dimensions. The research continues. This message was edited by iskipnw on 1-1-10 @ 10:17 AM
