Topic: backing plate identification

Anybody recognize the year or vehicle type of this plate? Thanks for any help...

The backing plates are 1946-48. The post war brakes only adjusted at the sides. The prewar plates adjusted in 4 places, 2 bottom and 2 sides. The war years were a little muddy in my mind. Shoes need to match the backing plates (pre or post war).

Thanks Charlie. I'm familiar with the adjustment procedure for the top & bottom type plate, but never had this post-war type. Does the post-war top only adjustment bring the entire shoe surface into play?

If you look at the post war brake shoes there is a slot in them (in the bottom where the pre war adjusters are located) that allows the brake shoes to move up and down.
