I have a wonderfully restored 1937 Ford 85 HP. The only issue is noisy springs. Anybody have a cure?

More often than not, the noise is coming from the spring shackle bushings. A set of rubber or Teflon bushings and new pins is the cure. Otherwise, the springs have to come out for disassembly so they can be cleaned, wear pockets ground down, and lube applied, before putting them back together, a big job.
