Topic: Very small leak / Silverseal ??

I have a very small leak in my top radiator core, not dripping on the ground, no puddle of coolant ever on the ground, just a couple of visible droplets on the upper right hand core finning in the engine bay.
Looking at additive sealants as a stop gap measure for a while until I'm ready to pull the radiator which will be done eventually.

Have looked at the old Pellet type Barsleaks but have read a lot of critical reviews, the other is Silverseal, the original since 1928.

Barsleaks pellets concern me for blocking things they shouldn't and should I be worried about the residue in the engine?

Silverseal claims it stays suspended in the coolant, but like all "spin doctors"in advertising each claim to be superior.

Who out there on the forum has used which, and what were the results??

Please keep in mind I need it for a very minor weep/leak, thanks in advance for any replies

Barr's Leaks has been used by Ford in their engines for decades, and when we were installing factory rebuilt engines, they were usually sent out with Barr's. Any radiator leak, regardless of how small is an indicator, that the radiator's life in about over. The factory used Barr's to cover any problems with the block casting or gaskets. Any stop leak has the possibility of causing stoppage. That is why they make it.
