Topic: 1936 Roadster top folding tips

The top on my newly acquired 36 roadster can be a handful to cleanly fold. They are stainless aftermarket irons, but follow the OEM patterns. Questions like 'where does the fabric go so it does not get pinched', or 'how do you keep the hard parts from clashing', etc. Is there a online step-by-step pictorial somewhere that would help? Words alone don't seem to always convey a clear story! Thanks.

As I fold down the top on my '47 convertible, I pause to smooth out the folds between the irons, and to be sure none of the material is hooked on the folding irons. Sometimes this requires pushing the top material back toward the center. Vacuum your top occasionally instead of washing it. Lowering a damp top is an invitation to permanent creasing. There may be a pictorial on your top, but I haven't seen one.
