Topic: 1934 trans mount

I have a 34 trans with no mount supplied. The repro rubber doughnut mount (Drake, MACS, etc) doesn't look to be what I need. Is the cast piece with ears and inner u-joint cap available anywhere? Thanks for your help.

Not sure what you mean by "cast piece with ears". The 1934 rear support (40-5089 was a heavy steel stamped part with the rubber ring vulcanized to it). We sell this repopped part and have for several years w/o problems.

The inner cap (B-4513) and the split outer cap (B-4520) are available from our used parts inventory.

There are two other parts in that mix....the B-7085 rear bearing retainer (a casting) and the B-5099 rear plate...plus the four special L head bolts. We stock that stuff too.

I had a couple rear supports off other trans (one was a 36) and they were complete units with ears, but the wrong width. I assumed the 34 trans had the same setup. Anyway, thanks for the help and I'll give you a call today.
