I am restoring my 1934 Ford Pickup, very slowly I admit. But, I need to know if the 34 pickup trucks were equipped with an apron under the grill and between the frame rails? I bought a reproduction apron, believing that it was correct and would fit properly. It did not! Then I bought a used apron advertised that it was for a 34 Ford pickup, and it does not look right either. I've seen many pictures of restored 34 Ford pickups and only one had the apron while most did not. So, what gives, where does this leave me. Thanks for any help, George Maher Fargo, North Dakota George

George, the 34 pickup did have a front splash apron under the radiator sh*ll and between the rails. It should be the same as the 33 pickup. They make a repro apron for the 32, but it will not fit the 33-34. It looks close, but no cigar. I will say that the apron from the big trucks in 33-34 will also fit the pickup.
