Will the master cylinder allow the reverse bleeding of brake lines using a brake fluid pressure pot attachment to the wheel cylinder bleeder valves?

The master cylinder has a residual valve that maintains pressure in the lines so you don't have to pump the brakes each time you use them. The brakes should be bled by using a "pressure pot" (bleeder) on the master cylinder. It has the added advantage of replacing the fluid in the master instead of contaminating it with old fluid from the wheel cylinders.
