Hello, could anyone tell me if a jack with the alpha numerals SJ1839 is a Ford jack and if yes, what vintage Ford would it have come out in? Thanks, John

It would be helpful if you could post a couple of pictures, so someone can identify what you have. Alan

Hello Alan, I don't have a picture and I was hopeful that the numbers would do it. Sorry! John

John, the numbers don't mean anything to me. The 38-39 Ford book, available on this website, has pictures and information on the several different jacks supplied with those vehicles. If you are refering to your 39 Ute, though, all bets are off, as local suppliers would most likely have had those contracts. Alan
