I'm trying to remove the oil pan from my 34. All the bolts are out and the pan is loose but is hanging up some where. oil pump? baffle in the pan? Ive pulled, pushed and its just stuck. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Prolly not the oil pump, and certainly not the baffle. Most likely, it's hung on a counterweight. Just rotate the motor a bit and it should drop right off.

You may have to jack up the front of the engine a couple of inches to clear the counter weight and the front cross member. Put blocks of wood under the motor mounts to support the engine, while it is raised.

Usually, you also have to release the ball on the rear end of the front radius rod to provide clearance so the pan can come straight down.
