Putting body back on my 53 sunliner convertible and discovered that Ford put the wrong upper floor pan in. The lower floor pan has a hole for the the extra outboard body mount, but the upper does not have the access hole on either side. Must have installed the wrong upper pan at the factory. Car functioned well without the extra attachment, so will leave it as is.Surprising. Take note Ray Beebe.
