Car been running rough. Decided to check condenser. Found nut on distributor terminal loose. Tried to tighten and terminal bolt broke off. Where to get a new one for '47 V8? Ford Part No. 1GA 12232. Old Henry (The older I get, the better old looks.)

We order ours from C&G (800/266-0470). Late '47 and '48s carried the condenser on top of the coil. You can ground the condenser body to the coil bracket, and connect the wire lead to the coil terminal that goes to the distributor. That will avoid having to replace the terminal on the distributor if it is long enough to connect to the coil after being broken.
