I am planning to add a 3rd brake light to my '34 cabriolet but I'm not sure where to place it. I'm hoping that others here have solved this problem Bill Brown '34 Cabriolet

Bill, Most drivers today look for the 3rd brake light at the top of the trunk. IMHO the easiest place to add the light would be on the spare wheel. Tom

Bill, Another location would be at the base of the soft top, with an interior magnet to hold it in position. This would have the advantage of inside wiring, and would be removable for show. Alan

I have a convertible, so the back window wasn't an option. I wanted the lights as high as possible, so I made a couple of brackets to attach it to the top of my license plate. To get the wire to it, I drilled through the center of on of the bolts that hold the license plate bracket to the trunk! Then used quick connectors to be able to remove the bar easily without a trace. I bought my light bar at .brakeflasher.com This message was edited by supereal on 6-29-12 @ 5:20 AM
