Topic: 1952 Ford Sunliner (Glass Top)

A friend found on the internet a "1952 Ford Victoria w/Sunliner" the glass top. Did Ford have one in 1952 or is it quite possible it is a "after market add in"?

We know that 1953-1956 had them, but did the 1952 also produce them like this.

Thanks for all help.

"In 1954, another new addition was the "Crestline Skyliner" 2-door hardtop, which featured an acrylic glass panel over the front half of the roof."

"SKYLINER" e/w acrylic glass panel over the front half of the roof." Introduced in 1954 model year, it was a Victoria Tudor Hardtop with the 'glass' roof......

"Sunliner" was the Convertible

My mistake on the name of the car but just got a call and pays to see a car in person as the one guy in our group called and come to find out someone "painted the plexiglass top" onto the car roof to make it look like it was real....fooled a lot I bet till they looked at it closely.

What some people won't do to a car is crazy. Thanks for the info.

My parents bought a '53 Merc in '55 that had a yellow body, with a green forward half top, separated by a narrow trim strip. I still don't know if it was a real option or what?
