According to the June 7 edition of Old Cars Weekly Melvin (M.E.) "Red" Burke passed away April 11. No cause of death listed. Red was a regular in the V-8 times as well as a vendor of old Ford parts. I met him a few times at So. Cal. swap meets. He was a very knowledgeable and friendly man. He will be missed.

Red was always very helpful when contacted about the V-8 engine. He knew more about how to explain the machine work required to assemble an engine than anyone that I know. He will be missed. Tom
