  After reading your other post I understand why you posted on this site. Why didn't you just add the picture to your other post or add it as a response to your other post? This way is kind of confusing.

  if that top of light is brass,then that light looks like a 1913-1914 Model T oil lamp with a custom added bail or handle on the top,
what does the top of light say on it,
the description lacks some info,atleast I might have missed it somewhere,

That is a John Brown 115 tailite for a '13-'14 Model T Ford. Called black and brass. The bale was added as the others have said. There should be a spade mount on the back. Kerosene.

  thanks I thought it was rr lantern ,it does have a mount on the back. I will try and find the kerosine bottom. thanks for the help.
