I need suggestions. All of the radiators on the market are between $650-$800. I want to make sure I get the right one. Gas tanks are available but which one should I get? Anybody got any experience with buying the reproductions? Being new to this hobby, I don't want to make a bad decision on this and I am looking for some guidance. Thanks guys! Brad: Radiators became very pricey when metal costs soared, particulary copper and brass. Most manufacturers of new vehicles use aluminum radiators, both to contain costs, and for efficiency. I haven't seen any made for old cars, but they are coming. In radiators, as in most things, you tend to get what you pay for. Most repros are made by Walker. You can browse their website.Gas tanks come in two varieties, metal and plastic. C&G shows a metal tank for your car as item# 40-9002-OR. You can see them at www.cgfordparts.com We use this vendor frequently as they have few backorders, and will be honest about any prospective delays. Expect to pay about $350. Welcome to our hobby. I assume you have joined our Club. It will be very valuable as you proceed.

Thanks Super! I'll look into those sources. I have joined the club and I have also been posting on the Ford Barn. I am so impressed by the knowledge and willingness to help of those here and at the Barn. Please be patient with me, I am sure I'll have many more questions to follow. Thanks! Brad Williamson
