Hi All...I certainly hope someone out there can give me some direction in finding some running boards and rear fenders for my 39 fordor. Anyone...Anyone?????

There is a Classified section on this site. Click on BACK TO HOME PAGE in the upper right hand corner of this page and then scroll down to Classifieds. Post your needs there. Another place to post your needs is on the Swap Meet of http://fordbarn.com/ Be sure to post in the Wanted Section of Early V8. Be sure to specify Deluxe or Standard. I am not sure if the Deluxe and Standard parts that you are looking for will interchange. Tom

You will need to specify if you have a standard or a deluxe car. There is s difference in the running boards between the two cars.

The 39 Standard running boards are the same as 38. If you can't find NOS, Bob Drake makes 38 running boards though they are expen$ive. Same with your rear fenders, 38-40 rear fenders will interchange, but you might have to re-do the tail-light openings. Bob makes those as well, (for his reproduction 40 coupe project) but I'm unsure whether coupe and sedan fenders are the same. These are new fenders presumably made from original dies. If you could order fenders that haven't been punched for tail lights, that would help, as of course your Standard only has a left tail light. I believe that all 38-39 Standard boards are the same, for all passenger cars; coupes sedans convertibles, even station wagons. This message was edited by Stroker on 4-5-12 @ 5:38 PM
