Topic: 1948 Ford Heater Hook-up

I am in the process of hooking up an original water-type heater in my 48 Ford woodie. I figured out the wiring for the control switch for the blower motor wiring but where does the power source lead attach? To the fusebox or simply to the ignition switch? Backwards on my back and I need help!

I hook them up to the accessory terminal on the ignition switch so it only runs when the switch is on. I think this makes sense, as if there is no hot water, there is no need to run the heater. Be sure that the ground wire to the heater is connected. If there is no wire, add one. It is also a good idea to have an inline fuse holder in the power lead. Those motors draw a good bit of current, so at least a 20 amp fuse should be used.
