What really burns me up are the dishonest dealers who say they are buying a car to keep. They really play on the sentiment of the seller.

First, I must say I am not a dealer. But I fail to see the difference if you sell a car to a private party or a dealer....the car is just as gone! If you both (seller and buyer) agree on a price, it should make you both happy. Just my 2 cents. Karl.
