On a 39Ford can I lube the rear wheel berrings from the grease fitting in back of the hub or do I have to pull the brake drums? Thanks

So glad you asked! Absolutely, do not EVER use those grease fittings (zerks). They will not do the job you want, but will do a number on your brakes. They were discontinued, I think onn the '40 model, for just that reason.

And as for the grease you need, get "StaLube Heavy Duty Drum Brake Wheel Bearing Grease". Napa Auto Parts has it, part # SL3131. This is the long fiber type you need, nothing else will do the job.
