Where do you use welting on the fenders. I have put it in between the running boards and front and rear fenders. Does it go on the side of the running board in between the frame. also does it go between the fenders and the inner fenders on the front. this is a 37 stake body truck. thanks for the help

Ford used an "anti-squeak" between the inner fender panel and the fender. You also find the anti-squeak at the bottom of the inner fender panel and the frame. They also used it between the running board and frame. The anti-squeak was an oil treated cloth that you can usually get from your local V-8 parts supplier.

No welting between running board and fender on any early Ford vehicle.
