Topic: any pics of 35 fender skirts?

  Guys ,anybody with rear fender skirts on their 35? If so can you post some photos, regards Dan.

  Dan: As the attached article will show, fender skirts, often called "pants" back then, didn't become a dealer installed accessory until the '37 model (shown). I didn't find any examples of earler use in my archives, but those I have seen over the years resembled those in the photo. Those could have been adapted, homemade, or sold by the many vendors such as Western Auto.

  For the 1934 Ford, Gar Wood made fender skirts that were a very popular dealer option. It may have been a direct result of the 1934 Chrysler & DeSoto Airflow.
A very sporty aerodynamic design with the Ford V8 logo on the center of the skirt where the lock mechanism
hole was hidden in the 8.

I love them on my 34's. I had a set on my 41, but they were flat and without an ornament. Probably a similar one could work on the 35 Ford.
