I have an Ascot T-A-V-8 engine mount plate that mounts to the engine by exhaust header bolts; my problem is that the two 5/8" bolts that go from adapter to engine stand are to big in diameter to pass through the arms on the engine stand. Many years ago I had a different stand and did this with no problem, anybody have an idea how I mate the adapter to the stand? This message was edited by Flatbob on 2-29-12 @ 6:59 PM

It is easy to forget that two exhaust manifold bolts are smaller than the rest.
