I'm putting a 53 Ford flathead in a 37 Ford. I put on the truck water pumps from Speedway Motors and a truck pan to clear the tie rod. What crankshaft pully can I use to have the wide belt like the water pump pulleys?. Thanks.

You can use the pulley from your 37 engine or a pulley from the 49 engine. Tom This message was edited by TomO on 2-29-12 @ 8:01 AM

You must use a wide belt '49 pulley, a '37 pulley will not line up with the truck pumps. Plus the '37 pulley probably doesn't fit the later crank. In useing the '48-'53 truck or the '49 ford or merc pulley the fan portion can be trimed off if it's in the way.
