Topic: Source for side curtain clips (35/36)

Can anyone tell me where to buy the MALE part of the side curtain - to door clips. ( thats the bit that fixes to the curtain). LeBaron & Bonney list them in their catalogue but not in their on-line ordering system. Have asked the question but cant get a response from their "customer service".
Is there an alternative supplier ?

thanks Dave h

Call them on the phone, 800/221-5408. Remember they are on the east coast, so their hours are EST. We have never had a problem ordering from them.

LeB/B have been working for quite a while to find a new source for these fasteners and there have been a number of fits and starts along the way. They now have a new source, but are still working on creating the tools necessary to attach the fasteners to the curtains.

I've seen the new fasteners and they look good, but for the time being, I understand that they will not be selling them separately, but rather only attached to side curtains they make.

Perhaps Guy Close in California still has some of the previous source's male fasteners in stock.

Sorry, but Im away from my reference material for the winter. He used to do business under that name and was especially known in classic car circles for the hard-to-find top and other fasteners used on those cars. It could be that he is no longer in that business.

Perhaps one of fellow hobbyists in California will recall him.
