Is it necessary to re-balance flywheel and pressure plate if replacing old pressure plate with same size new pressure plate?

Thanks, guys. One critic said, years ago, "if you ask him the time, he'll tell you how to build a watch". I try to avoid that, but want to give enough info to help the non-mechanics when required.
