Will a 12V voltage regulator that is intended for a '56-'64 Ford handle a 50 amp generator; I ask because I have one for sale and the buyer voiced his concern. Thanks

The regulator should handle the job if the amperage load is stock. Heavy duty regulators usually are required only for unusual loads, such as police cars, that have lots of auxilliary equipment.
