Looking for some 37-39 brake drums to convert my 36 ford to hyd. brakes allowing me to retain my origional rims. Any info.(input) would be greatly appricated. I know these drums are hard to come by, but maybe someone out there might have some. Thanks a million-Hal

I'd contact a specialist such as MT Car Products (a V8 TIMES advertiser, www.mtcarproducts.com ) regarding conversion. Replacing your cable brakes with hydraulics can be a big job. Ford didn't offer them until 1939, and by the time you get the master cylinder and linkage, plus the lines, etc, you are looking at a big job. Wheels are a small part.

I would contact Mr. Lacy at early ford v-8 garage. He has a lot of knowledge and sells kits. He is usually on the Ford Barn. IF IT CAN NOT BE FIXED WITH BLASTING WIRE, DUCT TAPE OR JB WELD - IT CAN NOT BE FIXED
