I have been through the 'bible' for the '46 through '48 Fords, but can't find a P/N or description for the correct red paint for all the trim, including the front chrome and SS trim and the hubcaps, as well as the "FORD" logo on the rear bumper. Can anyone help with that detail? Additionally, is the interior trim red paint the same as used on the exterior trim? I love this car and the challenge it provides in trying to learn and discover all the details. Having spent my entire working career as an investigator, this is harder than most of the other stuff I have done!

Joe, from one retired investigator to another you might take a sample of the paint(a piece of trim) to your local paint store. The can read the color with a scanner and mix the paint for you.
I saw your post about traveling with a "pooch". We also travel with a "pooch" and and belonging to AAA is a real advantage. Their travel books show pet friendly hotels.I have put together some cross country tours and traveling with other V-8ers is really a lot of fun. They are adventures you never forget. Plan your trips around attending a V-8 national meet.
