Does anyone know if the mechanical end connectors of a model 01T-17261 casing will fit on the connectors of a '39 ford?

That number is for a 54" casing designed for 41-47 trucks. The correct number for a '39 car is 78-17261-B. It is 65". I believe the connectors will work, but the difference in length could be a problem. C&G shows one cable set for 32-48, B-17260-R, $15.
