Earlier I posted about my 36 coupe with a later engine. It has 24 studs and the water pump is mounted on the block. It was mentioned that the number on the flywheel housing could help identify the exact year. The number is C71.1.1 Can someone use this number to get a better idea of the year? Thanks

The site had a lot of good information and I will check out the suggested numbers in various places. This article indicated the number on the bellhousing is not meaningful in telling the year. Thanks Tom for your input
