i would like to know if the '46 ford sedan super deluxe had red insert on the two stainless steel strips on the trunk lid. also was there any red striping on the chrome pieces above the back tail lights or any portion of the trunk handle. i have seen this on some cars but never knew it to ever be on mine. my father had the car since new. just wondering if maybe it waxed off in time or if the stripping is an add on. looks nice. thanks joe

No nothing red in the rear of the car except the logo in the bumper. All that was red was the 3 piece trim above the grill and 3 grill strips ubder that and the super deluxe emblem just below the head light. JIMMY46COUPE
