Bob Drake has a turn signal kit that fits in behind the horn grill for a '36. Has anyone tried it? Can one still fit the horn in behind it?? Thanks Bruce

That kit is designed mostly for streetrods. I suspect your horn(s) will have to be moved. You might call and ask that question.

When these signal lights first come on the market, I called to ask if they could be adapted to 6 volt and used with the stock horns. The person with whom I spoke said "no", but didn't offer why. It sure would be nice if these could be made to fit an otherwise stock '36 car.

Jim, there is a posibility of putting turnsignals behind the horn grilles, but you would have to modify the horns. You could mount a small self contained light in the bell portion of the horn. I think the best bet is to find a set of six volt fog lamps with the yellow lense. They mount(clamp) on your bumper irons and you make them the front turn signals.I did this on my 37.
