Is temp unit (bulb end) that screws into head on 60 hp engine same as used in the 85 hp engine? My guess it that they probably are but I want to be before I order one from a supplier. Thanks MarkPA

According to the Ford Chassis Parts List 1928-1937 for Passenger Cars and Trucks (re-printed July 1939) part number 78-10883 Unit (temperature indicator) assembly, fits models 74, 77, 78, and 79. 74 is 60 hp passenger car 77 is 85 hp light commercial 78 is 85 hp passenger car 79 is 85 hp heavy commercial Hope this helps -- and the answer to your question is yes.
